Chief Executive Officer (U.S.A.)
Daniel Gold has been the Chief Executive Officer of FES USA since its inception in 2009. Daniel founded Rushteam, an industrial cleaning and janitorial products supplier in 1989. Under Gold’s leadership, Rushteam successfully expanded and now has offices in seven European countries employing over 300 people. In 2003 Gold successfully acquired ISA International, a global toner cartridge and stationery company. ISA quickly became one of the top privately held companies in Great Britain. Gold then moved to Florida and set up Future Energy Solutions. Over the next four years Gold took FES from a start up to a company undertaking lighting projects in America and Europe.
Anthony Lyons co-founded the Gold Initiative and joined Daniel Gold as a partner in FES in 2012, becoming Daniel Gold’s strategic partner in bringing the FES business model forward. He co-founded Matterhorn Capital, a real estate investment vehicle in 2004, following the success of St. James Capital, an investment company founded in 1999. Matterhorn and its predecessor James Capital, has invested approximately £1.5 billion pounds since 1999 in a variety of real estate, hospitality and other types of long term cash flow leases.
Chief Operating Officer
Simon has served as Chief Operating Officer to Future Energy Solutions and its global operations since 2012. After many years of successful business ventures, Simon acquired London’s leading exhibition centre, Earls Court & Olympia (EC&O) with Anthony Lyons for £225 million in 2004. EC&O featured over 1 million square feet of real estate, visitor numbers of over 4 million per annum and 375 staff. At EC&O Simon served as Chief Operating Officer, before selling the business to Liberty International plc in 2007 for £380 million. In 2007 Simon co-founded with Lyons, Matterhorn Capital, which has been actively involved with real estate in the UK, France and the USA.
Group Commercial Director
As FES’s Group Commercial Director, Greenstein provides the Company with a strategic outlook on performance, procedures and growth. With a strong financial and commercial background, Lydia’s role is key in Future Energy Solutions’ expansion and consolidation phases. Prior to FES, Greenstein was Chief Financial Officer at TUI Lifestyle – a high end furniture retailer with multiple locations across the world. Prior to her role as CFO, Greenstein was a Corporate Controller for a select group of internationally known South Florida corporations. Greenstein has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Law & Accounting.
Group Operations Director
Kent joins FES as Group Operations Director, after 20 years of employment at Autonation, America’s largest automotive retailer. As Autonation’s Director of Facilities, Kent coordinated the moves of 18,000 corporate associates during tenure, across various buildings, with no adverse effect to day-to-day business operations. With 19 million square feet of buildings under management, Kent consistently get recognitions by senior management for stellar operation performance and superior safety record. Kent’s strengths include energy usage optimization for lighting and HVAC, disaster preparation and restoration, industry technology platforms and analytics, Six-Sigma/LEAN Process Yellow Belt, safety & regulatory compliance and industry technology platforms and analytics.
Global Head of Procurement
Andrew Duffus is a Product and Procurement Professional with over 25 years’ strategic procurement experience, much of which has been in high-tech integrator and manufacturing industries including Access Control, CCTV and high-end medical devices. He joined FES as Global Head of Procurement in 2013 and has covered all aspects of the department since. Andrew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and he has broad experience in developing long term value based relationships with suppliers in UK, Europe, USA and in the Far East. His additional experience includes Business Processes review and improvements implementation with a focus on Purchasing and Inventory management.
Director of Procurement
Denise Smith is Director of Procurement at Future Energy Solutions. Mrs. Smith has over 25 years experience in the construction and lighting industries. Prior to joining FES, Mrs. Smith held the position of Controller for BJK Construction, a General Contractor Corporation with over 40 employees and directed the financial activities of 100 sub contractors for 7 years. Mrs. Smith also held the position of General Manager for Gold Coast Masonry, a South Florida based masonry subcontractor, with full P&L and operational control for 18 years.
Chief Technology Officer & Director of Engineering
Josef Levy is an electrical and lighting engineer with over thirty years in the lighting industry and is an expert in lighting design, applications and technology. In his current position Josef Levy oversees product designs, specification, optimization and technical project management. Josef Levy also has a general strategic role in selecting the right efficient technology that the FES business will research, invest and deploy with specified FES USA markets.
Commercial Director (UK)
In 2013, Marcus was instrumental in launching FES when he was appointed Commercial Director for the UK Business, following a period in America with FES USA during 2012. Marcus joined Matterhorn Capital in 2009, working on Management, Acquisitions and Sales within the portfolio, gaining a broad experience of the UK & European Real Estate Markets before joining FES. His experience in the property business has been of direct relevance to the growth of FES, playing a vital role in the development of their unique proposition. Marcus has a broad commercial remit with a focus on strategic development, financial modelling, proposition submission and pre and post contract negotiation.
Project Administration Director
Paul joined the United States Army in 1997 where he would serve for the next five years. During his time with the US Military, Paul completed a Primary Leadership development course. After completing his service, Paul earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Project Management and joined Cintas Corporation as a Project Manager. Paul joined FES in 2013 with the goal of strengthening management procedures and creating new protocols that improve project administration. In the first six months of 2015, Paul and his team completed the installation of almost 7,000 energy-efficient fixtures, surpassing the total number of fixtures installed in the prior year.
Production & Assembly Manager
Leon joined FES in 2014 as a Warehouse Technician. With his commitment to excellence, Leon became FES’s Production & Assembly Manager. He is responsible for training and managing a team of production technicians. Leon liaises with the Project Administration team, Director of Procurement and Warehouse Manager and works alongside engineering to solve problems with fixtures, installation and production.
Tim Jones joined FES in 2012, after working with Daniel Gold for several years. Tim is responsible for safeguarding the warehouse operations and contents by establishing processes and protocols to ensure stock is accurately stored and accounted for. In addition, Tim ensures the maintenance of a clean, safe and productive work environment in accordance with FES and OSHA requirements.
