Lead Development Specialist

Fort Lauderdale, FL

This role will be responsible for prospecting outbound leads and qualifying inbound leads. Strategies such as researching new businesses, cold communication, call and lead qualification, networking and social selling, are part of identifying and securing new customers as well as maintaining and developing relationships with current customers.

What You'll Do

  • Outreach for potential clients through cold calling, cold email, and social selling.
  • Generate qualified leads and turning leads into qualified prospects, in order to spawn sales opportunities.
  • Understand and identify client needs to present them with accurate suggestions and solutions in terms of products and services.
  • LDS need to develop the ability to adapt quickly to tech, new trends, and changes in customers’ behavior in order to stay competitive.
  • Keep up with market changes, new services, new/existing campaigns, and finance in terms of pricing changes and payment incentives.
  • Arrange 10-15 calls and meetings per week between prospects and sales executives or managers.
  • Identify and secure new clients using various tools, besides developing long-term relationships with current customers.
  • Reach out to prospects that engage with relevant FES content or tools, offering education and assistance.

Your Qualifications & Experience

LDS are required to possess a special set of features, traits, and requirements, such as:

  • 1-2 years as a BDR/SDR, account manager, account executive, or relative field.
  • A good understanding of the business environment and experience in using sales techniques to identify opportunities for sales/improvement or new ways to achieve objectives.
  • Strategic thinking is where you will need a long-term vision for the company’s growth plans at all times, without forgetting short-term goals like developing client relationships and meeting budget targets.
  • Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with mid-level to senior executives in Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Google Sheets, and Google Analytics( or other sales/marketing analytics tool)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably.
  • Personal characteristics such as confidence, assertiveness, persistence, etc.…
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports of sales results to the Marketing Manager, COO, and VP of Sales
  • Focus on increasing customer satisfaction by customizing product solutions and take feedback into real consideration.
